Metus INGEST Recording Live Content at the Italian Olympic Game for Universities

Videe, one of Italy's most prominent production companies in the northeast region, chooses multi-channel Metus INGEST solution to capture and record their live content.
 
During the University's Olimpian Game, which is the Olympic game dedicated and open to all the universities from across the world, Videe deploys two Metus Ingest multi-channel HD-SDI servers to ingest live content directly into an Avid ISIS 5500 server and editorial tool Interplay Media Central UX.
 
The turnkey solution Videe provided for the Game, consisted of two HP Xeon-based workstations, Blackmagic Decklink Quad cards and Metus INGEST Pro version with multiple inputs and codecs.
 
Bringing Metus INGEST and Interplay Media Central UX together, helped create a smooth workflow for the client. With this solution, editors can easily search for clips during ingesting and drag &drop the growing file directly to the editing suites with Metus INGEST's "edit while Ingest" mode and they can edit the partial clips. This combination of features ensures a fast workflow that is also easy to manage.
